Our commitment

Haus Dogs exists to help you book trusted care for your dog. We don't sell your personal information, we don't share your activity with advertising networks, and we don't use hidden trackers to leak what you search, view, or book to third-party ad or analytics platforms. The rest of this policy explains, specifically, what we collect and how we handle it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information, and information about your pets. We also collect information necessary to operate the platform, including your booking history, communications with providers, and basic device/browser information used to keep the service secure and functioning.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

  • Provide and operate the booking service you request;
  • Process transactions and payments;
  • Communicate with you about your bookings and account;
  • Send promotional communications only if you have opted in, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • Maintain the safety and security of the platform; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, solely to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Google Firebase (secure data storage), and Resend (transactional email). These providers may use your information only to provide their service to us — never for their own advertising or marketing.
  • With the dog care provider you book,we share only what's needed to fulfill the booking (your name, contact information, and pet details).
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the public.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers. We treat your home address and your dog's care schedule as sensitive, and we never share when you are away from home with anyone outside the provider fulfilling your booking.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure payment processing through Stripe, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@hausdogs.com. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time. If you close your account, we delete or de-identify your information except where we are legally required to retain it (such as transaction and tax records).

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use only the cookies necessary to run the platform — to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and maintain the security of your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, and we do not load advertising or cross-site tracking pixels that would share your activity with third parties for targeting.

For basic, aggregate understanding of how our site performs, we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics that does not build advertising profiles, does not track you across other websites, and does not share your data with advertising networks.
