The flagship Haus Dogs gathering. Same trailhead, every walk — bring your dog, meet the pack, and walk at whatever pace suits you both. We meet next to the dog park at Alexander Park. Each walk is led by one of our providers, so the person up front is someone you can actually book later. No agenda, no pitch — just dogs, people, and a good morning out of the haus. All friendly, leashed dogs welcome. Come once or make it a habit.

Screened professionals

No one appears on Haus Dogs without applying, being reviewed, and being approved — personally, by us. Not by an algorithm.

Screened before approval

Every provider completes a 9-module certification — about 5 hours, 80% pass mark — before they can accept a single booking. Recognized credentials (DVM, CPDT, pet first aid) waive the matching modules. Individuals are identity-screened and reviewed by a person; facilities are verified on entity, insurance, and staff credentials.

Trusted community

Recurring events mean owners, dogs, and providers actually know each other. Care from a familiar face, not a stranger from a listing.

What is Haus Dogs?

Haus Dogs is a dog-care marketplace and community. We connect dog owners with screened local providers — from certified individual walkers and sitters to credentialed facilities — for walking, sitting, overnight boarding, drop-in visits, and training, and we host regular in-person events so owners, dogs, and providers actually get to know each other.

How does booking work?

Find a provider, request the dates and service you need, and the provider confirms they're available before anything is charged. You authorize a card at checkout, but it's only captured once the provider accepts the booking. After the service, you can leave a review. You keep booking the same trusted person visit after visit.

How do fees work?

You see the provider's rate and a small service fee up front, before you book — there are no hidden charges and no surprises at checkout. Providers receive their earnings after the service is completed, paid out securely through Stripe.

How do I become a provider?

Apply through the Become a Provider page — as an individual or as a business. Individuals are screened — an identity check and a personal review — and certified before approval; businesses are verified on their entity registration, insurance, and staff credentials. Once you're approved and you've set up payouts through Stripe, you set your own services and rates and clients can book you right away.

Are providers screened?

Yes. Every provider is screened before they can accept bookings — individual providers are identity-screened, reviewed by a person, and certified; facilities are verified on entity, insurance, and staff credentials — and clients rate them after each service, so the people caring for your dog are trusted and accountable.
