Assumption of Risk
By using HausDogs services, you acknowledge that dog care services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: injury to your pet, property damage, allergic reactions, escape or loss, interaction with other animals, and exposure to weather or environmental conditions.
Waiver and Release
You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless HausDogs, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, and actions arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the provision of services booked through our platform.
Pet Owner Responsibilities
As a pet owner, you are responsible for disclosing all known health conditions, behavioral issues, and special needs of your pet. You must ensure your pet is current on all required vaccinations. You agree to provide accurate information about your pet's temperament and any history of aggression or anxiety.
Provider Insurance
While HausDogs requires providers to meet certain standards, providers are independent contractors responsible for maintaining their own insurance coverage. HausDogs provides supplemental coverage for incidents occurring during booked services, subject to the terms and limitations of our insurance policy.
Emergency Authorization
By booking a service, you authorize the provider to seek emergency veterinary care for your pet if necessary and agree to reimburse reasonable emergency veterinary expenses incurred. You should provide your veterinarian's contact information and any emergency instructions in your pet's profile.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from services booked through HausDogs shall be resolved through our internal dispute resolution process first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
